Area Sales Manager - Chicago Market

Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced, results-driven Area Sales Manager to lead and develop our Factory Stores in the Chicago market across six retail locations. This role is responsible for achieving sales targets, driving operational excellence, coaching and developing store teams, and ensuring an exceptional customer experience that reflects our brand values.
Key Responsibilities
- Achieve and exceed market-level sales and profitability goals.
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans for all six store locations.
- Monitor KPIs, conversion rates, and lead management to maximize performance.
- Plan and execute off-site sales events to drive additional revenue.
- Lead, mentor, and motivate Store Managers and Sales Teams to deliver top-tier results.
- Implement training programs focused on customer experience, sales processes, and product knowledge.
- Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
- Ensure every customer interaction reflects our brand promise of wellness, innovation, and trust.
- Partner with Store Managers to resolve escalated customer concerns quickly and effectively.
- Monitor and improve customer satisfaction metrics including NPS and CSAT.
- Oversee scheduling, staffing, and inventory management in collaboration with Store Managers.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and financial controls.
- Drive operational consistency across all store locations.
- Execute local marketing initiatives, in-store promotions, and off-site events.
- Partner with internal teams to drive traffic and increase brand awareness in the Chicago market.
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience: 5+ years in multi-unit retail management or regional leadership; sales-focused environment preferred.
- Industry experience: 5+ years in the Pool and Spa Industry (preferred).
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales goals.
- Strong leadership, coaching, and team-building skills.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Data-driven mindset with experience using CRM, Power BI, Excel, Teams, and POS systems.
- Ability to travel regularly between multiple store locations. (6 Locations)
