Summary: The Operations Coordinator is responsible for assisting the Operations Manager with the day-to-day operations of our Marion Location.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Meet and greet company visitors.
- Coordinate and complete invoicing documents for inbound and outbound trucks.
- Print and disseminate load sheets for shipping department.
- Fulfill documentation storage, both physical and electronic.
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures for North Carolina Operations.
- Complete all inventory count checks as determined by the counting schedule.
- Maintain all MSD Sheets.
- Assist with gathering data for metrics.
- Accurately scale inbound and outbound loads. Enter data in the proper processing system.
- Communicate with inventory control, production, purchasing, and shipping departments to determine product availability and order status.
- Assist with inspections of your departments with OSHA/MSHA inspectors.
- Assist with vendors or outside contractors as needed.
- Maintain communication between leadership and employees to ensure that necessary policies are understood and followed as well as reporting employee concerns to Human Resources.
- Assist HR with new hire onboarding, training, injury reporting process, employee engagement activities, others upon request.
- Organize and coordinate all shipping and receiving documents.
- Order PPE Supplies, pallets, sticks, etc., upon request from the Ops Manager.
- Assist the material handlers and shipping loader operators with data entry and other tasks as needed.
- Update employee MSHA or OSHA data.
- Assist with handling returns by completing Operations Return process and required communication
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Professional presentation
- Knowledge and understanding of Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Excellent organization skills and attention to detail

- Past experience with or knowledge of stone preferred
