We are seeking a detail oriented tester to evaluate the voice interaction performance of our AI driven virtual assistant. The role focuses on assessing both the acoustic quality of synthesized speech and the accuracy, and robustness of the Automatic Speech Recognition (ASR) engine across diverse languages, accents, and real world noise conditions. The ideal candidate blends a passion for conversational AI with strong coding and analytical skills with the ability to grasp audio testing methodologies.
Responsibilities include:
- Collaborate closely with other team members within the department.
- Conducting testing as per the set standards and procedures.
- Submitting testing results as per procedures.
- Editing and proofreading translations for grammar, spelling, context, and punctuation.
- Experience working with test scripts and test cases.
- Passionate about new technology/coding/AI.
- Register detected bugs/issues and follow up with fix regressions.
- Work with a wide range of media and translation software.
- Summarize information from multiple sources in both English and the target language.
- Conduct active listening and note-taking to accurately capture spoken information in the target language.
- Read and comprehend written materials in the target language.
Requirements and qualifications include:
- 6-month contract (to be extended as necessary).
- Fluently read, write and speak English (Korean language ability is a plus).
- Tech savvy - Intermediate-level skills using computers, mobile devices, spreadsheets.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
