Purpose of Position

Working within a busy Client Service team, supporting both internal and external clients to maintain their schedule of audits and relevant certification requirements, to ensure that BSI upholds the highest levels of client service and adherence to our accreditation rules. As an intern your activities may regularly change to meet the needs of the business.

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities

  • To handle all calls (inbound and outbound) effectively to ensure that the BSI "Tone of Voice" and quality guidelines are always maintained
  • Negotiating with clients in relation to diary moves to minimize the number of changes necessary whilst implementing our Short Notice Cancellation policy where required
  • To identify, resource, book, and maintain the delivery of all audit work, utilizing the dedicated and competent audit team, and ensure cost-effective delivery
  • Accurately update internal systems and client records within agreed SLAs
  • Respond to queries, resolve issues, and escalate complex concerns as needed
  • Collaborate effectively across internal departments to ensure client needs are met promptly and accurately
  • Ensure all client interactions and actions align with internal policies, procedures, and accreditation rules
  • Undertake any other administrative or support duties as required
  • Undertake specific project work as required to meet the changing needs of the Business

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in any discipline
  • Be based in Pretoria
  • Eagerness to learn, adapt, and grow within a dynamic work environment
  • Proficient in English, with strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Computer literate with experience using Microsoft Office and computer systems
  • Good organizational skills with the ability to self-manage a range of administrative tasks throughout the workweek
