Your responsibilities
To process and categorize products returned to our regional warehouses, including inspection, recording data and disposition as per policies and refurbish units when possible to be returned to inventory. When required, ensure temporary personal are capable to perform required assigned duties and work the hours as prescribed by Field Service Manager.
Ensure that returned products are processed and made available for resale as quickly and efficiently as possible. Follow written guidelines as to classification of returned products and subsequent final disposition.
Audit all daily dispositions confirming paperwork coincides with data entered into system.
When necessary, light refurbishment of products to prepare for resale.
Work within company rules and regulations as set out in the Contract of Employment and amendments and in accordance with the Employee Handbook.
Maintain a safe working environment for both yourself and those around you at all times.
Only undertake work that you are qualified and able to attempt and that will not put yourself or others at risk of injury.
Conduct yourself in accordance with the training you have been given in a manner in keeping with our company image and the delivery of the highest levels of customer service.
Ensure accuracy of the returns process by diligently following processes and reporting work status daily.
Report any health and safety issues to the appropriate appointed person.
A uniform should be worn whilst working and maintained in a satisfactory condition.
Perform all other duties as reasonably required that are consistent with both training and experience.
Adhere to all Company processes, procedures, policies and standards.
As a team member, to contribute to the overall success of the team and the Company goals by maintaining regular attendance, punctuality, focus and professionalism at all times.
Mentors lower level staff on subject matter and department processes.
Training on an "as needed" basis.
First point of contact for lower level staff before Manager.
Review statistical metrics for meeting respective quotas and take appropriate action when needed.
Works "in line" with Manager in review of lower level staff's job competencies.
Your profile
5-7 Years of experience (Warehouse and Technical appliance experience) – Required
High school diploma or equivalent work experience
Ability to work with minimal supervision
Current valid driving license
Excellent customer relations skills
Functional basic math skills
Ability to explain issues in an understandable and logical manner
Ability to make sound fact based decisions in the company's best interest
Excellent verbal and writing skills
Demonstrates good organizational skills
Capacity to contribute guidance to peers
Ability to read the English language, and write in the English language legibly
Knowledge of common hand tools and proper tool use applications
Your pay & benefits
The pay range posted for this position is based on the location noted in the posting title. Exact compensation offered may vary based on your specific skillset and work location. If the position is bonus or incentive eligible then the payments range from 0% to 200% of target with details laid out within the plan document.
