Responsibilities
You will join the Bruker Daltonics After-Sales Service team and be supervised by the After-Sales Service Microbiology and Diagnostics Supervisor.
After completing internal training, abroad and in France, you will be responsible for technical support to our customers.
This mission consists of providing a high level of support and accompaniment to our customers which includes: installations, customer training on the use, curative and preventive maintenance as well as telephone support. All of these operations will be carried out directly on the customer site, the position is therefore inherently itinerant.
Your duties will be to:
- Prepare the installation by understanding the technical specifications of the system and ensuring the technical and material prerequisites internally and with the customer in order to complete the installation on time
- Perform on-site installation of a system and provide the client with training to ensure the system is put into service in accordance with the specifications
- Perform regular and/or preventive maintenance according to the defined protocol for the relevant system in order to meet compliance or contractual criteria to the client
- Diagnose and correct on-site and/or remotely, malfunctions on the systems in order to bring the system back to operational status
- Ensure regular follow-up and maintain a quality relationship with the client in order to perpetuate commercial relationships
- Write an external and internal activity report and perform reporting in the dedicated business software in order to ensure traceability of the activity and proper cost allocation
- Act as a liaison between factory experts and the client to resolve complex issues
- Participate in the development of quotes/technical estimates on installed systems to ensure compatibility/feasibility
Qualifications
- You will need to have a real ability to listen and communicate, autonomy, decision-making and understanding of our customers in all situations in order to maintain their satisfaction, which is our first objective.
- Level of education: Bachelor's degree +3/+5 in chemistry, physics, biology or equivalent
- Desired skills in mass spectrometry and/or microbiology
- Technical capacity to perform instrument maintenance
- Strong technical skills acquired in the research or industry sector

- IT knowledge: network configuration, client/server architecture, middleware, knowledge of Windows OS and Office

Location
- The position is based in Home Office, ideally near: Marseille - Provence-Alpes-C么te d'Azur region
- Position 100% itinerant covering the entire French territory and occasionally in Belgium and Luxembourg
