We are looking for a dynamic and self-reliant Automation Engineer for our Engineering Team in FĂĽllinsdorf.

Responsibilities

  1. Commissioning of our systems through calibration and programming of the robots, devices, and tools with our own automation software
  2. Preparation and execution of acceptance tests
  3. Application tests of newly developed prototypes
  4. Development and optimization of existing devices through new ideas, participation during the commissioning of systems at our customers’ sites, and further support during productive operation
  5. Independently solving problems and technical malfunctions
  6. Contributing innovative ideas to the development of new products and solutions, both in software and hardware
  7. Updating user documentation based on experiences collected by the team
  8. Supporting marketing and sales activities (e.g., videos, images, demos)

Qualifications

  • A completed apprenticeship as an automation technician with a higher education or a university of applied sciences degree in system technology, mechatronics, life sciences, or a comparable field
  • A flair for technology and a good hand-eye coordination
  • Basic knowledge of a programming language
  • Good German and English language skills in speech and writing
  • Increased willingness to travel
  • Preferably practical experience in development, handling chemicals, and/or experimental methods
  • High sense of responsibility and quality awareness as well as enthusiasm
  • Strong independence, drive, initiative, and team capability
