The part-time Audience Services Coordinator plays a crucial role in ensuring patrons have a delightful and seamless experience from the moment they interact with the Department of Theatre Arts & Performance Studies (TAPS) at Brown University. This seasonal position will primarily work during the academic year, though the schedule is subject to change based on the Department's schedule of events and programming. As the first point of contact for our audience, the position provides exceptional customer service, addresses inquiries, and supports ticketing and event-related operations, including box office and front of house. This role also assists with audience outreach efforts, helping to promote events and build community connections.
The position's dedication to delivering a positive and welcoming environment will contribute to the overall success of our events and help foster lasting connections with the Department's patrons.
This is a fixed term part time position, 18 hours per week, August - May, subject to renewal based on satisfactory work performance and dependent upon funding.
The position is required to work nights and weekends.
