Create full and comprehensive manufacturing processes' including the creation of multi-level bills of materials associated with the manufacture of Britten Norman aircraft. Provide full technical support to the production team. Take a leading role in process improvement initiatives to enable continuous improvement throughout the manufacturing cycle. Key Responsibilities

Create multi-level BoM structures relating to the various sub and major sub-assemblies within the aircraft and also from main assembly through to aircraft completion.

Create full and comprehensive working processes associated with all aspects of the aircraft manufacture from sub-assemblies through to completion.

Liaise with the BNA Design Office to provide custom and support to the design process, and gain early information to enable a work plan to be created.

Undertake, make or buy decisions based upon the capabilities of BNA.

Hold regular process reviews to ensure accuracy between the written processes and actual practices.

Provide full technical support to the BNA production team, taking the lead role in process improvement initiatives.

Identify improvements for the tooling used within the assembly process. With a view to improve ease of manufacture, repeatability, and safety.

Programming of 3 axis CNC milling machines, CNC lathes and CNC router using ALPHACAM software.

Ensure no danger is caused either to themselves or others by the use of unsafe working practices.

Undertake training as appropriate to fulfil the requirements of the role.

Have regard and where necessary comply with the Company's systems established to ensure compliance with those policies, plans, procedures, laws and regulations which could have an impact on your working.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

Engineering Apprenticeship or Equivalent Standard

Ability to work in a highly regulated environment

Demonstrable experience in the use of CNC programming software is essential

At least five years experience in an Engineering environment

Experience in the use of Alphacam CNC programming software

Strong communication skills both verbal and written.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset.

Able to work well under pressure and achieve collective goals and deadlines.

Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, fostering positive relationships and promoting open communication.

Keen eye for detail and able to follow required processes.
