Entry-Level HR/Admin & Compliance Officer

We are hiring an Entry-Level HR/Admin & Compliance Officer to support day-to-day HR operations, office administration, and compliance coordination. The role requires strong documentation discipline, confidentiality, and the ability to follow and enforce company policies, SOPs, and basic regulatory requirements. Most ready to move/to relocate to Osun State Nigeria.

Key Responsibilities

1) HR Support

  • Support recruitment coordination: job postings, CV sorting, interview scheduling, onboarding checklists.
  • Maintain employee records and HR files (contracts, IDs, leave records, confirmations, disciplinary documentation).
  • Track attendance, leave, resumption, and HR registers; prepare payroll inputs (attendance/leave summaries).
  • Support staff welfare coordination and basic employee relations follow-ups.
  • Draft and format HR documentation: memos, letters, confirmations, policy acknowledgements.

2) Admin & Office Operations

  • Manage office supplies and requests; support vendor coordination and basic procurement tracking.
  • Support meeting scheduling, minute-taking, visitor handling, and action follow-ups.
  • Maintain proper filing systems (physical and digital), naming conventions, and document control.
  • Support updates to basic office asset registers (e.g., office items, assigned tools).

3) Compliance & Policy Coordination

  • Support implementation and tracking of company policies (attendance, confidentiality, code of conduct, IT use, procurement, travel, etc.).
  • Maintain compliance registers and documentation for audits (HR documentation completeness, policy sign-offs, training records).
  • Track mandatory staff training and certifications (e.g., HSE/basic safety, data privacy awareness) and follow up on completion.
  • Support incident documentation: complaints, misconduct reports, non-compliance logs, corrective actions (as directed).
  • Assist with basic data protection practices: secure handling of employee/customer documents, access control, and retention rules.
  • Support vendor/partner documentation checks (NDAs, compliance documents, onboarding forms) where applicable.

Requirements

  • Education: HND/BSc in HR, Business Administration, Public Administration, Law, or related field.

  • Experience: 2 years (NYSC/internship experience in the HR department accepted).

  • Skills: Strong communication, confidentiality, attention to detail, organisation, and willingness to learn.

  • Ability to work with policies/SOPs and maintain accurate records.

Tools

  • Microsoft Office / Google Workspace: Word/Docs, Excel/Sheets, Email

  • Basic data entry, filing, and document formatting

  • Any exposure to compliance, audit support, or policy administration.

  • CIPM/HRPL training (or willingness to learn).

  • Basic understanding of data privacy concepts (NDPR awareness).
