Mechanical Engineering Co-Op Program

Position Timeframe: January 2026-July 2026
Spring Co-op Locations: Aiken, South Carolina Wilson, North Carolina
Responsibilities
Mechanical Engineering co-ops typically work on projects such as:
- Designing, developing, and deploying machinery and other equipment intended to execute and improve processes
- Learning and utilizing key electrical manufacturing tools and systems; suggesting improvements as needed
- Process Engineering; support specifications and standards in areas such as compound, component, curing process, or uniformity analyses
- Plant Engineering; assist in the safe design, procurement, installation, debug, start-up and operation of plant equipment and projects
- Product Design; utilize software and standards for accurate creation, revision, and organization of documents and distribution controls

Minimum Qualifications
To thrive in this role, you need…
- To be pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering or another applicable major and actively enrolled in the degree program at an accredited university
- To be junior-senior level standing with a GPA of at least 3.0
- Completed course work in Computer Aided Design (CAD)/AutoCAD
- To be available to work 40 hours weekly in a 6-month minimum co-op assignment
- No other work experience is required. We will teach you everything you need to know!
