Sales Engineer

As a Sales Engineer at Webfleet, you'll bridge the gap between customer needs and technical solutions. You'll design and deliver integrated solutions, enabling scalable, customized deployments with the Webfleet software ecosystem. This ecosystem is broad, including vehicle tracking hardware, dashcams, Tachograph Manager, and compliance tools—all integrated into one solution, plus extended 3rd party solutions.
Here is a little taste of your challenge:
- Partner with Sales and Account Managers to understand customer requirements and propose tailored technical solutions.
- Lead technical discussions with prospects, focusing on vehicle integrations, software integration, APIs, and platform extensibility.
- Deliver product demos and workshops that highlight Webfleet's strategic advantage, both to customers and internal teams.
- Design and document customer solutions that are deployed by your peers, also supporting in tender responses where required.
- Support proof-of-concept projects and pilot implementations.
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to relay customer and sales team feedback.
- Provide onboarding and training for customers and partners on integration best practices.
Who are you?
- Experience in Sales Engineer, Pre-Sales Consultant, or Technical Solutions roles within SaaS, IoT, or mobility sectors.
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, webhooks, and data integration workflows.
- Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript) and integration tools (e.g., Postman, Swagger).
- Enthusiasm for technology and implementing change for positive environmental impact.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, must be comfortable presenting to senior execs within our customers.
- Willingness to travel across the UK & Ireland as required.
- A "can do" and positive attitude, with a desire to get results and support the wider teams success.
- Experience in telematics or fleet management systems.
- Knowledge of data security, GDPR, and compliance.
- Fluency in additional European languages is a plus, but not essential.
