Performs plumbing work including installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing and heating systems.
Installs new plumbing including pipes, valves, drains, basins, faucets, lavatories, sinks, drinking fountains, hot water heaters, and a variety of other plumbing fixtures and equipment;
Repairs plumbing systems including pipelines;
Repairs chilled and heated water systems;
Repairs various appliances including laundry and kitchen equipment;
Reads and interprets blueprints and written instructions;
Provides assistance to building maintenance as needed;
And confers with supervisor concerning construction, alteration, maintenance, and repair projects.
