General Summary:
Perform daily custodial duties
Essential Duties:
Duties include but are not limited to cleaning of offices, conference rooms, restrooms, and common areas of a building. Tasks include sweeping, vacuuming, and trash removal as well as cleaning of carpet, mopping floors, cleaning windows, and office furniture. Responsible for floor finishes, including stripping, waxing, and buffing hard floor surfaces.
Other Duties as assigned.
Supervision Received: From Supervisor, Janitor/Custodian Given: Non-supervisory position.
Education Required: High school graduation or its equivalent; or any equivalent combination of education and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
Experience Required: At least one year of experience.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations Required: None.

Safely operate equipment and use cleaning chemicals; use hand tools and other specialized equipment; understand and follow instructions; communicate effectively both orally and in writing and work effectively and cooperatively with co-workers.
