This resource will lead the development effort within their workstream, recommending technical designs and developing solutions for the more complex user stories. They will also assign user stories to mid-level developers and system administrators, providing guidance as needed to ensure quality output.

Minimum Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on development experience with ServiceNow, including core platform and one or more advanced modules (e.g., ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, SPM, SecOps, GRC).
• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification required or ability to obtain within the first 90 days.
• ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) certification required or ability to obtain within the first 90 days.
• At least 1 ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) is required or ability to obtain within the first 90 days.
• Proficient in scripting and development such as JavaScript.
• Experience with Integrations using REST, SOAP, MID Servers, and third-party systems.
• Strong understanding of ITIL processes and practical implementation within ServiceNow.
• Proven ability to design, develop, and optimize complex workflows, business rules, and UI policies.
• Demonstrated experience in configuring Service Portal.
• Ability to lead design discussions, translate requirements into technical specifications, and mentor junior developers.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum delivery frameworks and tools.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills — able to work with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Proactive in design discussions with the client.
• Experience in writing technical documents.

Requirements

• US Citizenship
• Ability to obtain public trust clearance
• Bachelors degree or above
• 5+ years experience with ServiceNow development

Additional Preferred Skills

• ITIL Certification
• Exposure to architectural frameworks
• Knowledge of Section 508 compliance
