Shuttle Service Driver

The Shuttle Service Driver drives the bus/van transporting Hillcrest/Aspen Pointe/Birchwood residents to/from appointments and activities in a friendly, safe, and timely manner.

Minimum Qualifications:

Required:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Driver's License

Preferred:

  • American Heart Association BLS or American Heart Association Heart Saver CPR & AED
  • American Heart Association Heart Saver First Aid
  • Experience driving larger vehicles
  • Experience working with adults and geriatrics

Essential Job Functions:

  • Drive residents to activities and appointments
  • Vehicle maintenance in regards to fueling, cleaning, and snow/ice removal
  • Assist residents in entering and exiting vehicle and securing their belongings
  • Assists Activity Director and managers as needed
  • Maintain and verify the daily appointment schedule for residents

  • Self-directed, completes assignments accurately, thoroughly and with minimal oversight
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrates sound judgement, patience, and maintains a professional demeanor at all times

Schedule Requirements:

  • This role requires regular and sustained attendance.
  • The position may necessitate working beyond a standard 40-hour workweek, including weekends and after-hours shifts.
  • On-call work may be required to respond promptly to organizational, patient, or employee needs.

Physical Requirements:
