Oversees food preparation and staff; participates in food preparation.
Knowledge of federal sanitation regulations concerning facilities, equipment, and utensils.
Creative skills to enhance worn out meal production.
Ability to calculate percentages and fractions for recipes.
Knowledge of operation and maintenance of dish machine, ovens, steamers, slicers, freezers, and refrigeration.
High level of professionalism and interpersonal skills.
Ability to communicate in an articulate, professional manner.
Minimum of 1 year of experience including food services required.
Available to work outside of traditional business hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays if needed required.
Ability to provide own transportation (mileage reimbursed) to complete requirements of the job required.
Minimum of 18 years of age required.
CPR (BLS) certification required.
ServSafe Food Handlers certification within 120 days of transfer or hire required.
High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.

Position requires moderate physical activity handling of average weight objects up to 20 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds occasionally; standing and/or walking continuously. Subject to inside environmental conditions, with exposure to extreme cold from walk-in coolers and freezers and extreme heat working with stoves, ovens, and steam tables. Exposure to odors and cleaning solutions and kitchen equipment.
