Box is a leading modern content management company that powers organizations worldwide. As part of our team, you will be the first point of contact for our Tokyo office and a key liaison between our Japan team and global headquarters. You will create a welcoming, professional front-office experience for visitors and employees while ensuring the office runs smoothly, efficiently, and in alignment with our global standards and culture.
Your responsibilities will include managing the company's lobby and reception area, greeting and directing all visitors in a professional and friendly manner, supporting internal/external events in the office, coordinating visitor access, badges, and security procedures in line with company policies. You will work closely with IT and Physical Security to support onboarding, access, and issue resolution, oversee mail and package handling, manage the local food program and lunch catering, manage relationships with vendors, support health, safety, and security procedures in the office, and oversee meeting room bookings and setup, including AV readiness and special requirements.
You will also act as a culture ambassador, modeling our values in your daily interactions, fostering an open, inclusive environment where employees and visitors feel welcome and respected, collaborate with People team, Community & Impact team and Business leaders to support culture initiatives and internal communications, gather, arrange and submit data for ESG initiatives, and balance global standards with local needs, giving feedback to HQ to continuously improve processes.
To be successful in this role, you should have a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, 2–4 years of experience in a similar role in a corporate environment, business-level fluency in Japanese and English, both written and spoken, to interact with internal and external stakeholders, and onsite work from Box Tokyo Office, from Monday to Friday.
