Recruiter/Account Manager (Independent Contractor – Part-Time)

The Role

We're looking for a part-time Recruiter/Account Manager (Independent Contractor) to support our clients through the full hiring process. This is a role that combines recruiting and client management from discovery calls to candidate sourcing and placement.

The focus of this role is to manage the full cycle of recruiting from discovery calls with clients to sourcing, screening, and presenting qualified candidates. While prior recruiting experience is valuable, this role is also well-suited for professionals with account management or client service backgrounds who excel at building relationships, managing details, and providing exceptional client experiences.

Your primary goals will be to:

• Deliver professional, personable recruiting services
• Build strong client and candidate relationships
• Contribute to client retention by providing consistent, high-quality support

This opportunity is designed for someone who values flexibility and balance. Hours will start light and increase as you take on more roles, up to 20 hours per week. What You'll Do

• Lead discovery calls with clients to understand hiring needs
• Source, screen, and interview candidates via video calls
• Present qualified candidates and guide clients through the hiring process
• Maintain accurate and timely records in HubSpot and our applicant tracking system
• Build trusted relationships by being both professional and personable in every interaction

What We're Looking For

• Experience in recruiting, account management, or client service
• Strong communication skills - professional, warm, and approachable
• Organized and detail-oriented, able to keep systems and processes updated
• Comfortable with video calls, CRM, and ATS tools
• Construction industry experience a plus
• Solutions-oriented - always brings a solution to a problem
• Able to work independently, managing up to 20 hours per week as workload grows

Compensation

• $21/hour (independent contractor role)
• Eligible for placement bonuses and commissions based on performance and client success after 6 months
