Job Purpose

The Paul Davis ERC – Restoration Sales role is a front-line, high-impact position responsible for responding to property loss events and securing emergency service work. This is a true hunter-style sales role that combines relationship building, urgency, empathy, and persistence. The ERC is often the first company representative on site and plays a critical role in turning a distressed situation into a confident, trusting customer relationship.

Key Responsibilities

• Respond rapidly to active property loss scenes across the San Marcos and surrounding Southern California territory
• Secure Emergency Work Authorizations and close emergency service sales
• Build immediate trust with homeowners, property managers, and commercial clients during high-stress situations
• Coordinate emergency response crews and prioritize services based on loss severity
• Create damage assessments and new loss documentation
• Work professionally with insurance adjusters and claims personnel
• Communicate customer expectations, hazards, and site conditions to internal teams
• Maintain accurate records of dispatched events and follow up on declined services
• Market Paul Davis services to insurance agents, adjusters, property managers, and referral partners
• Represent the Paul Davis brand with professionalism and consistency in a competitive market

Qualifications

• Proven sales experience with a strong ability to close (hunter mentality required)
• Comfortable operating in fast-paced, high-pressure, customer-facing environments
• Persuasive, resilient, and persistent with a strong desire to help others
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Highly organized with strong follow-through
• Willingness to be on-call 24/7/365 as part of an emergency response rotation
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• High school diploma or equivalent (industry experience preferred, not required)
• Experience with insurance claims, emergency services, or restoration is a plus

Compensation

• Base Salary: $72,000 – $76,000
• Performance-based bonus tied to closed sales
• Competitive total compensation potential based on performance
