Security Architect

Responsible for the planning, design and build of security architectures; oversees the implementation of network and computer security and ensures compliance with corporate security policies and procedures.

Responsibilities include:

• Advanced planning, design and build of security systems, applications, environments and architectures
• Overseeing the implementation of security systems, applications, environments and architectures
• Ensuring compliance with information security standards and corporate security policies
• Providing technical advice and direction to support the design and development of secure architectures
• Participating in incident management teams, bringing advanced-level skills to respond to security events
• Investigating purported intrusions and breaches, and overseeing root cause analysis
• Coordinating incidents with other business units and acting as incident commander of serious incidents
• Developing new methods, playbooks, scripts, applications, and tools
• Evaluating existing and proposed technical architectures for security risk
• Researching, evaluating, tracking, and managing information security threats and vulnerabilities
• Working with senior management to develop and implement a security roadmap
• Focusing on operational and strategic level tasks, and providing counsel and guidance to junior level security operations engineers

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $106,300 to $223,400 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.
