Our Purpose: As a Quality Engineering Intern, your role is critical in ensuring patient safety and quality of care. The Post Market Quality Engineering team uses product performance data and deep dive analysis to understand if products are performing as intended. You will build relationships with professionals in a diverse range of fields, inspiring people to embrace a culture of continuous improvement. Your Responsibilities

As a Quality Intern at Boston Scientific, you will…

• Act as an effective leader or team member in supporting the investigation and monitoring of BSC product performance.
• Analyze post market surveillance data for patterns and trends and investigating when necessary.
• Collaborate and gain experience from a diverse cross-functional team.
• Gain better understanding by applying academic knowledge to a real-world problems.
• Improve patient lives around the world every day.
• Value Improvement Projects (VIPs) such as developing and/or driving internal process improvements allowing cost savings for Boston Scientific.
• Participate in new analytical tools and harmonization of post-market trending and analysis.

Required Qualifications

• Must graduate in fall 2026
• Currently pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Statistics.
• Must have at least one semester of school left post-internship
• Must be able to commit to one of the following full internship program periods: May 18th – August 7th OR May 26th – August 14th
• Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship, now or in the future, for employment-based work authorization
• Must have reliable transportation to and from the Arden Hills Boston Scientific Corporate location

Preferred Qualifications

• Ability to communicate effectively with diverse, cross-functional teams.
• Self-starter with the ability to identify improvement opportunities and passion to learn new technologies and find new solutions.
• Knowledge of analytical techniques and statistical analysis.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office tools including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
