Marketing Events Specialist

Boston Consulting Group partners with leaders in business and society to tackle their most important challenges and capture their greatest opportunities. BCG was the pioneer in business strategy when it was founded in 1963. Today, we help clients with total transformation-inspiring complex change, enabling organizations to grow, building competitive advantage, and driving bottom-line impact.

As a Specialist on the North America Marketing Events team, you'll support the design and delivery of premium, bespoke experiences for BCG's most senior client audiences. In this regional role, you'll contribute to events that serve as strategic marketing platforms—reinforcing our brand, showcasing thought leadership, and advancing commercial priorities.

You'll work closely with senior team members to translate strategy into action—helping coordinate across teams, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure seamless programs. Alongside logistics and execution support, you'll contribute to content development, communications, and data tracking to help ensure events deliver against brand and business goals.

As part of the North America Marketing team, you'll work across the firm—locally, regionally, and globally—collaborating with colleagues in brand, communications, practice areas, and operations, as well as agency partners. You'll learn from and support senior team members, building your expertise in marketing and events while helping ensure BCG's client programs are cohesive, strategic, and impactful.

You're Good At:

  • Thinking like a marketer—helping ensure events contribute to BCG's brand and business objectives.
  • Supporting the planning and execution of invitation-only, senior-level client events.
  • Assisting with content development, messaging, and communications that highlight BCG's expertise.
  • Coordinating with cross-functional teams, vendors, and agencies under the direction of senior team members.
  • Managing operational tasks (timelines, materials, logistics) with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Using data and feedback to support measurement and improvement.
  • Communicating clearly and professionally with different audiences.
  • Collaborating as part of a team and contributing positively in a fast-paced environment.

What You'll Bring:

  • 2–4 years of experience in marketing, communications, or events, ideally with exposure to integrated campaigns or executive-level programs.
  • Foundational skills in event planning or project coordination, with interest in how events fit into broader marketing strategy.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to contribute to messaging and storytelling.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Curiosity and adaptability—seeking opportunities to learn and strengthen expertise in marketing and client engagement.
  • Experience with marketing tools, CRM systems, or event platforms a plus.
  • Flexibility to adapt to evolving priorities and willingness to travel or support occasional evening/weekend events as needed.

You'll collaborate with the Senior Specialist and Senior Manager of North America Marketing Events, while also working with colleagues across North America Marketing (Brand, Communications, PR, Strategy & Ops), BCG Partners, agency partners, and global marketing teams. Together, you'll deliver strategic client events that showcase BCG's thought leadership, deepen relationships, and reinforce our market presence.
