Description Of The Position

Responsibilities:

• Maintenance And Optimization Of Existing Data Loading And Processing Processes:
  • Monitoring the operation of current ETL/ELT processes based on SQL Server and MS Fabric Dataflows/Notebooks.
  • Identifying, analyzing, and solving problems in data flows.
  • Supporting the optimization of query performance, stored procedures, and SQL/T-SQL scripts and Notebooks.
  • Creating and modifying SQL/C#/.NET scripts to ensure the continuous operation of systems.
• Development And Implementation Of New Solutions In Data Warehouse:
  • Active participation in the design and implementation of new data loading and processing processes to the existing Data Warehouse based on Azure SQL Server.
  • Creating new tables, stored procedures, and views in the Azure SQL Database environment.
  • Integrating new data sources with the Data Warehouse.
• Support In Migration Of Solutions To MS Fabric:
  • Active participation in the process of moving selected existing data processing processes to the MS Fabric environment.
  • Support in creating new Dataflows, Notebooks (using PySpark/Scala), and streams in MS Fabric.
  • Help in testing and validating migrated components.
• Work In Scrum Methodology And Reporting:
  • Active participation in the Scrum team meetings (Daily Scrum, Sprint Planning, Retrospective, Review).
  • Regular reporting of work progress and any encountered problems to the Product Owner.
  • Preparing and updating technical documentation related to the tasks being performed.

Qualifications

Profile:

• Student/On A Technical, Computer Science Or Related Field.
• Availability: Minimum 20 hours per week.
• Knowledge Of .NET: Ability to work with the .NET platform (C#) in the context of creating data processing solutions or system integration.
• Knowledge Of SQL Server: Understanding of relational databases, ability to write SQL queries.
• Knowledge Of Integration Protocols: Knowledge of SOAP/REST APIs, including the ability to consume them and the basics of creating simple interfaces.
• Knowledge Of Azure DevOps: Ability to work with the version control system (Git) and basic understanding of CI/CD processes in Azure DevOps.
• Analytical Thinking And Problem Solving: Ability to analyze data, identify problems, and propose effective solutions.
• Willingness To Learn And Proactivity: Readiness to quickly acquire new knowledge and independently seek solutions.
• Knowledge Of English: Ability to read technical documentation and communicate at B2 level.

Desirable:

• Basic Knowledge Of Azure Cloud: Understanding of basic Azure services such as Azure WebJobs (or similar computing services), Azure SQL Database.
• Interest In MS Fabric / Databricks: Willingness to learn and explore technologies related to data engineering platforms such as MS Fabric Dataflows, Notebooks (PySpark/Scala) or Databricks.
• Understanding Of IaaC (Infrastructure As Code): Willingness to learn and basic knowledge of tools such as BICEP or Terraform for infrastructure automation.
• Basic Programming Knowledge In Python: Interest in using Python in the context of data analytics.
