In product development, you will work on Variable Turbine Geometry (VTG) development programs for the next generation of Gasoline exhaust gas turbochargers. Starting from the first concept idea based on derived TC system targets you will take over the technical ownership in a cross functional team of experienced development engineers until first customer SOP. When developing the variable turbine stage you will approach the holistic overall behavior of the Gasoline turbocharging system and accompany the complete development process from the first concept definition, aerodynamic stage optimization, design implementation, procurement of qualified prototypes up to the definition and analysis of the mandatory validation scopes in simulation and testing. In this role, you will also be responsible for creating and maintaining all technical documentation and actively supporting supplier and customer projects in problem-solving activities to ensure a smooth transition to series production.
