The HRIS Analyst II plays a key role in supporting and optimizing the Human Resources Information System (HRIS) to meet the evolving needs of a fast-paced retail organization. This position is responsible for maintaining system integrity, performing data analysis, generating reports, and implementing system enhancements to improve HR processes. The analyst partners with HR, IT, and other cross-functional teams to ensure data accuracy, streamline workflows, and support key HR initiatives such as talent management, payroll, benefits, and compliance. With a strong understanding of both HR functions and system capabilities, the HRIS Analyst II helps drive operational efficiency and informed decision-making across the business.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate employee data within the HRIS through regular updates and data integrity checks.
- Assist and lead HRIS projects, including system upgrades, new functionality rollouts, and implementations.
- Assist in identifying and implement process improvements through system configuration, automation, and cross-system integration opportunities.
- Create and deliver reports, dashboards, and analytics to support strategic HR and business decisions.
- Provide technical support and training to HR and end-users; troubleshoot system issues and translate technical information into user-friendly guidance.
- Partner with HR and cross-functional teams to assess current processes and recommend technology-driven enhancements.
- Collaborate with IT to resolve technical issues and ensure system performance, and compliance standards are met.
- Maintain up-to-date system documentation, including process workflows and configuration details.
- Conduct and support end-user training to adopt systems and proficiency.
- Prepare and submit data for audits and support ongoing compliance initiatives.
- Stay informed on HRIS features and trends to help optimize system usage.
- Support broader HR initiatives by supporting data input, testing, and system configuration tasks.
- Demonstrates high level of quality work, attendance and appearance.
- Demonstrates high degree of professionalism in communication, attitude and teamwork with customers, peers and management.
- Adhere to all local, federal and state laws in addition to Company policies, procedures, and practices.
- Performs any other duties that may be assigned by management.
