The Electrical Engineer provides technical and engineering support services for Air Combat Electronics program office at NAVAIR (PMA-209). Candidates should have experience with software designed radios with Embedded COMSEC, anti-jam, and SATCOM waveforms. Work products include review of ECPs / CDRL documents. Draft technical white papers and platform integration plans. Test ARC-210 radios capabilities provided with Collins radio and RCU software releases.
Responsibilities
Required Education
Bachelor of Science Degree in Math, Physics, Computer Science, or an Engineering Discipline. A four-year ABET accredited Engineering Degree is preferred.
Required Experience
Minimum of six (6) years of experience in an Engineering role.
Preferred Experience:
Three (3) years of experience with Navy Test and Evaluation Planning and execution preferred. Three (3) or more years of experience in Electronics Countermeasure Systems. Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills. Familiar with the Department of Defense (DOD) System Engineering Technical Review (SETR) process. Familiar with Naval Test Procedures. Proficiency in MS-Word, MS-Excel, MS-Power Point.
Must work onsite 100% of the time at NAVAIR, located Lexington Park, Maryland. Must possess a Top-Secret security clearance. Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required. Starting salary range of $129K - $4160K.
