The Contract/Finance Support Specialist (Junior) provides administrative and financial support for DSE's Navy and Marine Corps aircraft support contracts. This role assists with tracking contract and subcontract financials, preparing invoices, maintaining pricing structures, and managing a range of contractual documents such as NDAs, teaming agreements, and subcontracts. The specialist also ensures compliance with contract requirements, manages insurance certifications, tracks travel expenses, and monitors performance metrics. Ideal candidates will have strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and SharePoint, a solid understanding of records management, and a degree in program management, business, or a related field. Prior experience or internships supporting government contract and finance operations are required; familiarity with FAR and DFARS is preferred.
BA/BS degree in a Program Management, Technical, or Business analysis discipline.
High proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and SharePoint. Records management principles and procedures and maintenance of files and file systems. Internship or direct experience with government contractor contract and finance operations.
1-3 years administering finances for government contracts. Familiarity with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense FAR Supplement (DFARS) is preferred, but not a requirement.
Must work onsite 100% initially with hybrid schedule available following a few months of training.
Location: Bel Air, MD (Harford County)
Security Requirements: The candidate must be a US Citizen and eligible to obtain a secret clearance.
Starting salary range between $50,000 to $65,000 annually.
