✨ About The Role
- Develop a full vehicle thermal model of the Overture aircraft, focusing on skin heating during supersonic flight and its effects on interiors/systems
- Interface with various aircraft Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) to provide detailed thermal analysis and modeling support
- Conduct technical thermodynamic work in propulsion, bleed systems, ECS, fuel, and other systems as required
- Support design trade studies to ensure the right solutions for the Overture aircraft
- Collaborate with team members throughout the design and integration activities
âš¡ Requirements
- Experienced aerospace engineer with a strong background in thermodynamic modeling and analysis, specifically in aircraft systems
- Ability to lead technical work and collaborate effectively with different groups within the organization
- Bachelor, Master, or Doctorate of Science degree in engineering with at least 10 years of experience in the aerospace industry
- Skilled in conducting thermal analysis of supersonic aircraft and using design, test, and analysis tools related to thermodynamics and fluid dynamics
- Familiarity with aircraft subsystem design, analysis, and integration
