✨ About The Role
- Responsible for assessing aircraft flight characteristics, stability, and control law development for the Overture supersonic airliner
- Collaborate with the Overture Design group to assist in aerodynamics database design and control law development
- Define the architecture of Flight Control Laws for the Overture aircraft
- Develop tools for Flight Control Laws development, stability margin determination, and load alleviation techniques
- Evaluate the performance of the Control Laws architecture and solicit feedback from pilots and other design disciplines
âš¡ Requirements
- Experienced professional with 5-8 years in aerospace engineering, specifically in Stability and Controls analysis
- Strong background in aerodynamics, aero-elastics, and aircraft loads with a focus on flight control actuation systems
- Skilled in communicating complex technical information effectively to various stakeholders
- Proficient in tool automation using Python and/or Matlab for Flight Control Laws development
- Bachelor, Master, or Doctorate degree in engineering, mathematics, or physics required
