✨ About The Role

- Lead the development of the FADEC system hardware and software for the Symphony Integrated Power Plant System (IPPS) - Define hardware and software requirements to ensure compliance with FAA Part 25 and 33 regulatory certification requirements - Author system development, validation, and verification plans for development assurance - Lead design and evaluation of control law for favorable dynamic behavior - Collaborate with other team members and suppliers throughout the design, integration, and certification activities

⚡ Requirements

- Experienced aerospace engineer with a Bachelor, Master, or Doctorate of Science degree and at least 10 years of experience in aerospace engine controls - Strong expertise in feedback control system hardware and software, with a background in authoring, validating, and verifying control system technical requirements - Skilled in collaborating with cross-functional teams and suppliers to develop and validate requirements, making technical decisions with minimal supervision - Excellent communication and presentation skills, able to effectively interface with different groups and levels of leadership internally and externally - Preferred experience in application of SAE ARP4754 and ARP4761, environmental qualification per DO-160, and model-based development per DO-331
