✨ About The Role
- Responsible for supporting the design of Electro-Mechanical Systems on the Overture supersonic airliner
- Collaborate with the Overture design group to assess electronic and mechanical functions of various systems
- Develop system layouts, mechanisms, and kinematics using Catia/3DX
- Evaluate system behavior in the presence of failures and ensure compliance with safety requirements
- Capture, validate, and verify requirements necessary for the development and certification of Overture Electro-Mechanical Systems
⚡ Requirements
- Experienced engineer with a Bachelor, Master, or Doctorate of Science degree in engineering and at least 10 years of experience in aerospace
- Proficient in developing block diagrams, detailed design, and fabrication of mechanical systems
- Skilled in capturing, validating, and verifying requirements for the development and certification of Electro-Mechanical Systems
- Strong understanding of sensors, feedback control systems, and kinematics of linkages
- Effective communicator with the ability to work collaboratively with other design disciplines and suppliers
