✨ About The Role
- Responsible for the preliminary and detailed design of composite and metallic aircraft structures
- Support configuration development, trade studies, and manufacturing teams through fabrication and assembly planning
- Develop test plans and oversee design of component and assembly level structural tests in collaboration with Stress Analysis
- Create specifications and documentation for the development of structural flight hardware
- Work on key technical disciplines such as metallic & composite materials, material & processes, load path, stress, and finite element modeling
⚡ Requirements
- Experienced aerospace engineer with a Bachelor, Master, or Doctorate of Science degree and at least 10 years of experience in the industry
- Proficient in designing composite and metallic aerospace structures, with a strong background in classical analysis and finite element modeling
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with internal engineering groups and external suppliers
- Skilled in creating CAD models, developing test plans, and overseeing structural tests for aircraft components and assemblies
- Problem-solving and collaboration skills are essential, with the ability to work with large teams to solve complex technical issues
