The Marketplace Business Operations team bridges the gap between strategy and execution, via ensuring that the Marketplace Leadership Team - and wider department - is equipped with the right planning, processes & tooling to drive clarity in decision making and increase organizational effectiveness. The team translates strategic goals into actionable plans (through others), aligns work with company objectives, fosters collaboration, enhances customer experience, optimizes efficiency, and reports progress to leadership; all to fulfill our purpose as a Marketplace Department and ultimately drive company growth and profitability.
Apply structured methodology to support the adoption of standardized processes across the department to increase efficiency and effectiveness while also simplifying where possible
Support the execution of the processes and key initiatives to run the business and the organization
Execute thoughtful, yet simple, processes to increase efficiency and productivity. Contribute to establish business operations best practices within the area of scope.
Support annual and ad hoc planning processes within the area of scope.
Support some of the measurement, reporting and analysis of performance which are key for the preparation of the business reviews (monthly, quarterly, mid year).
Solve low complexity problems with small supervision and support the solution of more complex topics. Be hands on and drive solutions to problems in partnership with the involved parties.
Effectively collaborate with various teams, departments, and stakeholders.
Ability to influence up to Senior Management level and productively interact with Director level.
Previous experience of 3-5 years in a large corporate organization within a Business Operations/Process Optimization/Process Design roles is essential, consulting or technology would be hugely preferred.
Excellent stakeholders management skills: Is able to easily coordinate and communicate with stakeholders internally and externally across all levels and departments - TOP of the list need resilience - aligning with many individuals.
Team player & Relationship building: Being collaborative, prioritising the greater good for the business than the personal interests, being open and humble enough to learn from others and share experience. Strong interpersonal skills focused on collaboration. Building and maintain lasting relationships and connections with diverse teams, across the organization and outside
Great communication skills: ability to provide clear and concise updates to a wide range of stakeholders up to Director/VP level. Working cross functionally
Tools management: prior knowledge and experience with Jira (or similar project management software) is important as the role will manage Jira for BusOps. Strong interest and willingness to learn at a minimum
Have a basic business and good financial understanding, be able to use quantitative and qualitative data to drive decision making.
Ability to identify challenges and opportunities and support the resolution of those
Highly organized and structured in order to make sure all processes run smoothly and in a reliable manner.
Able to influence management and small groups.
Be able to ensure that outcomes of the processes and the BAU initiatives are in line with internal partners needs and expectations
