Event Staff Coordinator

You'll assist with coordinating the numerous front-of-house event details, including staffing and customer services, required for a flawless and unforgettable event. As the Event Staff Coordinator, you'll be responsible for:

1. Implement staffing plans for events, ensuring adequate coverage for all areas
2. Creating and updating monthly schedules for all staffing
3. Train and supervise event staff, instilling a commitment to excellent customer service and safety standards
4. Create event notes to communicate valuable event details for the team
5. Conduct a thorough review of staff timekeeping records to ensure accuracy and compliance.
6. Coordinate with other departments (production, operations, security etc.) to facilitate effective communication and seamless event execution
7. Assist in the development of event staff manuals and guides, ensuring staff are well-informed and prepared
8. Monitor staff performance and provide feedback and assistance as needed
9. Maintain accurate records of staff scheduling, hours worked, and other relevant data
10. Address any guest issues swiftly and professionally
11. Participate in post-event evaluations to assess staff performance and improve future operations
12. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations during events, and instill a commitment to safety.
13. Responsible for Manager of Duty (MOD) on small size events
14. Desire to learn and develop new skills in an ever changing/fast pace environment
15. Be proactive in identifying and resolving potential issues before they escalate during events
