Why This is an Exciting Role: The Boeing Space, Intelligence & Weapon Systems Division's Global Satellite Configuration and Control Equipment (GSCCE) program is seeking motivated, goal-achieving, and team-oriented specialist to support update, upgrade, and development efforts for the global military satellite communications (MILSATCOM) ground system that will manage the WGS Payloads for all F1-F12 satellites — for the Boeing-built Wideband Global SATCOM (WGS) satellites.

Experience and Qualifications: To be eligible for this demanding position, the ideal candidate should demonstrate the following experience and qualifications:
Required Education and Years of Experience: Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Associate) and typically 2 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Masters, 6 years related work experience, etc.).
Required Qualifications: Takes an active role in ensuring program sparing is adequate to accomplish program operational sustainment requirements. Submits CAPRS request and acts as a liaison between the program and the supplier management team. Manages and tracks the inventory to include hardware and software and licensing - interface with the facilities, hardware and software teams. Hold the purchased HW support contracts (the ability to facilitate trouble tickets). Hold purchased software license accounts (receive emails about status and access to the keys etc.). Tracks the budget available for purchasing to help facilitate purchase requests for the team (this may or may not be needed). Tracks expiration of equipment and software to ensure replacements are available when needed by technical team. Supports/Conducts the execution of processes and procedures to provision materials required to sustain program execution. Executes and controls the technical data management of the program and the Media Control Plan. Routinely handles, creates and transfers classified and unclassified media in support of program execution. Maintain Shipping and Receiving records (including new orders and warranty replacement). Uses an enthusiastic, hands-on approach to work and coordinate activities across the entire program team. Perform detailed technical document reviews. Responds quickly and directly to rapidly changing customer requirements. This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Security Clearance Post-Start is required.
Desired Qualifications: Experience supporting DoD Security programs. Experience in aerospace industry.
