Supply Chain In-Service Fleet Support Manager

Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for a Supply Chain In-Service Fleet Support Manager to join our In-Service team in Seal Beach, California.

The Supply Chain In-Service Fleet Support Manager will lead all procurement activities and keep the business operations running efficiently by supporting both enterprise level initiatives and implementing high visibility supply chain focused projects, developing and executing integrated organizational plans and solutions to enable business objectives. The ideal candidate will ensure all items and services are accurately acquired, so that projects and processes can proceed efficiently and optimally to drive the overall success of the company. They will simultaneously lead multiple contracting activities while partnering with customers to ensure a OneBoeing approach!

This role requires partnership with leaders across the enterprise and an active member of the BCA (Boeing Commercial Airplane) Supply Chain team. This position will discover new opportunities and solutions for business problems by looking beyond current practices and using innovative thinking. This role requires blending strategic thinking with on-the-ground execution, enabling the organizations to improve systems, business policies, processes and efficiencies to operate as One Boeing Supply Chain.

Position Responsibilities:

• Lead a supply chain team supporting Fleet Chief Office and in-service airline customers.
• Ensure integration and collaboration with stakeholders, including Program, Customer Support, Design Engineering, Production Supply Chain, Value Stream Integration, Warranty, and Boeing Global Services (BGS).
• Utilize supply chain experience to remove roadblocks, drive resolution, and increase stakeholder trust and satisfaction.
• Manage direct engagement with operators to improve customer satisfaction, operational efficiency, airplane reliability and Maintenance Lifecycle Operating Cost (MLOC) through part availability
• Oversee the management and resolution of top fleet issues for assigned programs.
• Engage in complex technical issues.
• Execute strategies to increase velocity and reduce financial impact to Boeing and the operator.
• Oversee activities related to managing Supplier issues from root cause identification, corrective action implementation through to retrofit programs.
• Support Regional VPs and Program leaders using effective communication and project management best practices.
• Develop executive level supply chain presentation materials for use at Program meetings, Fleet Team Conferences, Airline Executive Review Meetings (ERM) and Technical Review Meetings (TRM).

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work on-site at one of the listed location options.

The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a "US Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. "US Person" includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills / Experience):

• 5+ years of experience with Supplier Management, Supply Chain and/or Procurement practices and processes
• 5+ years of experience collaborating with senior management and/or executive leadership
• 5+ years of experience in leading through influence and partnering with cross-functional teams on projects, transactions or initiatives
• Able to travel 15% domestically and internationally

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills / Experience):

• Bachelor's Degree or Advanced Degree
• 5+ years of experience demonstrating exceptional business, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• 5+ years of experience with interfacing with and presenting to senior and/or executive leadership
