Standards Support Specialist

The Boeing Company is seeking to hire a Standards Support Specialist to join the global Maintenance Training Team based at our Training Campus, Seattle, WA, where the successful candidate will support the Standards Team.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the Chief of Standards and Examinations Manager in their role of directing and facilitating the Standards and Examinations Team in their day-to-day work
  • Create, administer and publish technical documentation
  • Develop processes and coordinate activities to ensure technical data and procedures are documented and current.
  • Conduct presentations, status reviews, and monitor execution of support programs.
  • Use specialized tools to configure, maintain, update and develop new and existing technical documentation.

Work Authorization:

This requisition is for a locally hired position in Seattle. Candidates must have current legal authorization to work immediately in the United States. Boeing will not attempt to obtain Immigration and labor sponsorship for any applicants.

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years experience interpreting commercial technical documentation including service bulletins, and procedures manuals.
  • 5+ years familiarization with aviation maintenance training and associated regulatory insight
  • Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft 356, and associated tools

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Ideally have 3+ years' experience administering technical training and/or administration of aviation regulatory exams
