Lead Integrated Support Planning And Management Specialist

The Boeing Company is seeking a Lead Integrated Support Planning And Management Specialist located in Hazelwood, MO.

This position will support the F/A-18 Program and aligns to the BGS Engineering function as part of the Integrated Support Planning & Management (ISPM) Team. The individual will report to the St. Louis F/A-18 Integrated Support Planning & Management (ISP&M) and Customer Support Engineering team within Boeing Global Services.

The F/A-18 ISP&M team supports USN/USMC F/A-18 and EA-18G customers. The focus of this position will be the F/A-18 Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) Configuration Management (CM) lead providing support to F/A-18 BGS and BDS Engineering and Program Management to ensure Integrated Logistics Support program ILS CM requirements are successfully achieved.

The ideal candidate has a depth of Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) knowledge, experience in multiple ILS disciplines, is familiar with aircraft production and modifications, in-depth understanding and application of Configuration Management / Engineering Change Proposal (ECP) Process and has experience leading a team in executing a statement of work. The candidate must be responsive, have strong communication and analytical skills.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Supports the F/A-18 Program as the ILS CM lead.
  • Ensure systems, processes and controls are in place to effectively manage support in the ILS CM environment.
  • Prepare and present ILS CM status at Program Management Meetings (PMM).
  • Attend Engineering Change Boards and provide Logistics decisions which impact support.
  • Works with BDS CM and USN CM to help manage ILS CM requirements.
  • Identify ILS related risks, conduct risk assessments, and establish applicable closure.
  • Validate required technical information and processes to develop and maintain support products, engineering data and integrated support infrastructure.
  • Organize and participate in technical coordination meetings, ILS reviews, IPT coordination meetings and design reviews.
  • Support research, documents and provides technical information and supports the establishment of processes to develop and maintain support products, engineering data and integrated support infrastructure.
  • Tracks established performance metrics and customer requirements (with deliverables)
  • Develops and validates ILS CM deliverables per contract requirements.
  • Coordinates between organizations and assists in the development and implementation of support products.
  • Provides ECP process training across many F/A-18 organizations.
  • Coordinates with facilities personnel about multiple sites to ensure readiness and availability of equipment.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 10+ years' experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (Higher education includes college, university, technical school, licensing/certification programs, etc.).
  • 5+ years or relevant experience in multiple Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) elements and their products (Technical Publications, Support Equipment, Training, Maintenance Planning, Facilities & Infrastructure, Retrofit, Provisioning, Supply Chain).
  • 5+ years of Configuration Management experience.
  • 3+ years of Military logistics and/or aircraft maintenance experience.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelors degree or higher.
  • Military aircraft modification program experience.
  • Experience with F/A-18 aircraft.
  • Previous USN customer experience.
  • Previous ILS CM experience.
  • Experience in teaching/training others.
  • Ability to travel up to 10% domestically.

Salaries are based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. Lead - Level Summary Pay Range: $107,950 - $146,050
