Experienced Manufacturing Operations Analyst – Welding Workplace Coach

The Boeing Company Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) is seeking an Experienced Manufacturing Operations Analyst – Welding Workplace Coach to support the Skill Enhancement Center in Berkeley, Missouri.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Conducts assessments of processes and practices for comparison to applicable standards and criteria.
  • Analyzes and interprets data. Provides feedback on assessment results.
  • Works with organizations to develop strategies, plans and metrics to accomplish company initiatives using Lean methodologies or other applicable tools and processes.
  • Works at the appropriate level in the organization to implement strategies and plans.
  • Works under general direction.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 5+ years of experience in an aerospace manufacturing environment
  • 5+ years of experience with GTAW (Tig) welding, primarily thin wall aluminum. Stainless and titanium are preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience with general use of assembly tools for indexing
  • 5+ years of experience orbital welding of titanium tubing – best practices of cleaning and machine set up
  • Pressure testing operations and set up
  • Completed a blueprint reading class
  • Experience analyzing and interpreting data from multiple sources
  • Knowledge of linear indications and criteria prior to parts/components shipping

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Experience with coaching one or more individuals at a time and providing feedback
  • Understanding, interpreting, and delivering specific process driven instruction based on feedback from Manufacturing Operations and Quality
  • Works well in a collaborative team environment
  • Has the ability to adjust course in a dynamic shop floor manufacturing environment
  • Successful completion of a Welder Training Program through a recognized educational institution

Summary pay range: $79,050 – $106,950 USD
