Experienced Manufacturing Operations Analyst

The Boeing Company Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) is seeking an Experienced Manufacturing Operations Analyst to support the Bomber Aircraft Operations Team in Oklahoma City, OK.

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of an innovative and expansive team. In this role, you will partner with our cross-functional support teams, program leadership, and subject matter experts on process improvements, strategic business transformation initiatives, and lean-based projects to increase efficiency and improve both first-pass quality and safety. Utilizing Root cause corrective action and Lean methodologies, you will have the chance to identify, create solutions, and lead projects that will create value for the program. You will help drive business planning and decision-making, operations, and business insights up and down the BDS value stream.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Leads complex group work sessions selecting and using advanced Lean principles, processes and tools to implement the Boeing Production System for internal or external customers
  • Conducts assessments of processes and practices for comparison to applicable standards and criteria
  • Analyzes and interprets data
  • Provides feedback on assessment results and identifies opportunities for improvement and potential areas of risk
  • Works with organizations to develop strategies, plans and metrics to achieve business objectives
  • Works at the appropriate level in the organization to implement strategies and plans
  • Works under minimal direction

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 5+ years of experience using LEAN Manufacturing and/or Continuous Improvement practices and tools in the workplace.
  • 5+ years of experience working in operations or manufacturing environment.
  • Experience in developing and implementing process improvements

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Project Management experience preferred.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency and experience working with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).

    Summary pay range: $73,100 โ€“ $98,900 USD

    Export Control Requirement: This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a "U.S. Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. ยง120.15 is required. "U.S. Person" includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

    Security Clearance: This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.
