Entry-Level Manufacturing Engineer

The Boeing Company, Boeing Global Services (BGS) and the Defense Spares Engineering team is seeking an Entry-Level Manufacturing Engineer to join our team in Oklahoma City, OK.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Supports the development and implementation of production and tooling methodologies.
  • Participates as a member of an Integrated Product Team (IPT) to support the integration of technical solutions across multiple disciplines.
  • Supports the development, identification and implementation of conceptual designs and maintenance of the program architecture for build.
  • Participates in the implementation of manufacturing plans.
  • Investigates technical problems.
  • Participates in the implementation of Lean principles and technologies. Interfaces with IPTs and internal customers to develop products, skills, knowledge and experience.
  • Ability to work on-site 5 days per week.
  • May be requested to support other programs as required.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering.
  • Aerospace related experience in manufacturing, fabrication, or assembly processes and procedures, or experience during a project at school or during an internship.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Experience working with out of production Boeing aircraft models pertaining to flights and technical training.
  • 1+ years of experience supporting the development of engineering technical data packages needed to produce aircraft parts and components.
  • 1+ years of experience reading and understanding engineering drawings, blueprints, schematics, and specifications.
  • Experience working in a cross-functional environment.
