Associate Standards Support Specialist

Boeing Quality & Compliance is seeking an Associate Standards Support Specialist to join the global Maintenance Training Team based at our Training Campus in Crawley. The new joiner will work with our aircraft maintenance training team in support of growing international training requirements.

Our team is responsible for the continuing standards and regulatory compliance of all maintenance training activities worldwide, including both internal and external oversight, and there may be opportunities for short term international travel as the role progresses.

Hiring details:

  • This requisition is for a locally hired position in Crawley, UK. Benefits and pay are determined at the local level and are not part of Boeing U.S. based payroll.
  • This position is hybrid. This means that the selected candidate may be required to perform some work onsite at Crawley. This is at the hiring team's discretion and could potentially change in the future.

Position responsibilities:

  • Support the Standards and Examinations Team in their day-to-day work
  • Create and administer technical documentation
  • Administer internal standards processes
  • Use specialised tools to configure, maintain, update and develop new and existing technical documentation.
  • Participates in process development to ensure technical data and procedures are documented and current.
  • Supports presentations, status reviews, and monitoring execution.

Work Authorisation:

This requisition is for a locally hired position in the UK. Candidates must have current legal authorisation to work immediately in the United Kingdom. Boeing will not attempt to obtain Immigration and labour sponsorship for any applicants. Benefits and pay are determined at the local level and are not part of Boeing U.S. based payroll.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Experience interpreting commercial technical documentation including service bulletins, and procedures manuals.
  • Familiarisation with aviation maintenance training and associated regulatory insight
  • Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft 356, and associated tools

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Ideally have 3+ years' experience administering technical training and/or administration of aviation regulatory exams
