Position Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive individual to join our Field Integration Services team within CBIT in Hyderabad. The position is responsible for development and maintenance of Data Integrations and pipelines supporting the Prescriber Integrations portfolio, who has a strong hands-on technical expertise in Python and AWS Services such as Glue, Lambda, API Gateway, EventBridge. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 2-3 years of experience in Software Development and Data Engineering. Key Responsibilities

  • Build cloud-based (AWS) data pipelines across our cutting-edge data platforms, including event driven and batch data processing, storage, and serving through various data integration techniques.
  • Work closely with various functional and data engineering teams to roll out new capabilities.
  • Develop and enforce data engineering, security, data quality standards and processes to support and facilitate integration projects and initiatives.
  • Work closely with AI/ML team to operationalize and utilize models for business needs.
  • Participate in effort estimations when required.
  • Should be able to effectively coordinate with all stakeholders (cross-functional teams) and instrument for the best-in-class solution implementations.
  • Should be able to work directly with multiple stakeholders and work on multiple tasks/projects simultaneously from technical perspective.
  • Analyze existing processes and make best practice & improvement recommendations to streamline any of the existing processes which should be harmonized globally.
  • Coordinate and ensure all the standard documentations such as System Design Documents, Configuration tracker, Deployment checklists, Change Requests, Testing, Quality Management tasks are documented and continuously maintained.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related fields
  • 3-5 years of IT experience in Software Development and Data Engineering
  • Solid programming skills in Python
  • Proficiency in AWS services - AWS Glue, Lambda, API Gateway, AWS RDS/Redshift, AWS Event Bridge
  • Excellent querying skills (SQL) and strong understanding of relational databases preferably PostgreSQL
  • Experience in building, administering and consuming Restful APIs
  • Ability and willingness to learn any modern technologies and apply them at work to stay ahead of the curve.
  • Experience with operations and production support and optimizing the supporting process.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Proactive and self-motivated, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
  • Prior Life Sciences Experience, good to have.
