Responsible on the ground and to clients for the implementation of the commercial strategy. In charge of commercial analysis and the preparation and presentation of proposals aimed at ensuring the permanence of the BMS product portfolio. From this role, it generates alliances, solid relationships with relevant actors in the short, medium, and long term, which allow BMS to be seen as a strategic partner that provides value to patients, doctors, and institutions. From technical knowledge, permanent updating, and experience, it will support the positioning of the BMS portfolio, developing new businesses and models of relationship. Knowledge of the Health System, as well as the routes of access to medicines, understanding of the new Cancer Law and changes in the state purchasing process (CENARES/CEABE). Participates as an influencer and advisor of the CF teams. Supports access to already commercialized products and the successful process for products in launch to achieve public financing.

Responsibilities:

  • Analysis of clients in charge and their relationship with the supply chain to the patient.
  • Experience in the implementation of strategies with public and private health insurers and institutions.
  • Identification of contracting models between insurers and public and private institutions and the role of the Logistics Operator in the process of acquiring medicines.
  • Preparation of disruptive proposals in conjunction with finance and the value access proposition within the framework of the current commercial policy.
  • Facilitating communication between the customer service, logistics, quality, and finance areas with the accounts in charge, establish frequent communication with the product specialist to generate actions and value proposals in public and private institutions.
  • Elaboration and leadership of the account plan for the accounts in charge (commercials only) and relationship with the related areas to achieve the defined objectives.
  • Participate in the planning and sales follow-up meetings at both the regional and national levels.
  • Present ideas to the access committee - marketing - medical for the implementation of new proposals.
  • Analysis of terms of reference in public and private institutions and follow-up of the offers presented to guarantee compliance in time and agreed conditions.
  • Identification and development of new commercial possibilities to enable the BMS portfolio, ensuring greater access to vulnerable populations.

Profile/Professional Experience:

  • In the health and/or administrative areas with experience in the management of accounts related to the current and future therapeutic areas of BMS. Understanding of the Peruvian health system and the sources of financing for the reimbursement of current and future BMS technologies. Permanent updating in normativity and its interpretation. Knowledge of economic evaluations in health. Knowledge of the contracting models of public institutions. Sense of urgency and result orientation. Availability to travel 50% of the time. Teamwork, having the ability to interact with different areas, communicate results, and promote initiatives. Assertive and empathetic communication within and outside the organization. Understanding of the role of each actor within the supply chain. Knowledge of the structure and purchase process of CENARES/CEABE/FFAA and POLICIALES. Logistics operators/distributors related to the BMS portfolio. Minimum 3 years of commercial management experience in high-cost technologies related to hematology and/or oncology.
  • Desirable Languages: English 50% Handling of office tools (Excel, Power Point, and internal management programs)
