Position Summary

The Trade & Distribution Support Intern will assist in strengthening relationships and optimizing operations with pharmaceutical wholesalers and retail/community pharmacies. This role provides an excellent opportunity for hands-on experience in pharmaceutical supply chain, account management, and industry stakeholder engagement.

This internship is from June 1-August 7, 2026. This is a temporary, time-bound position intended for the duration of the internship or co-op program. Employment in this role does not imply or guarantee ongoing or permanent employment with BMS.

The starting hourly compensation for this assignment is up to $52/hr. Please note that the final individual compensation and any applicable benefits will be determined by your employer of record (and not BMS). Factors influencing this decision may include the characteristics of the assignment, such as demonstrated experience, required skill, and the geographic location of the job. Compensation details are subject to change.

Key Responsibilities

• Wholesaler Support:
  • Assist with regular data collection, analysis, and reporting on wholesaler performance metrics
  • Support with contract documentation and compliance checks
  • Help to coordinate and track order fulfillment, shipment schedules, and inventory status
  • Assist with preparation for wholesaler meetings and audits
• Pharmacy Relations:
  • Collaborate on outreach initiatives to pharmacy partners to understand concerns and feedback
  • Assist in gathering, summarizing, and relaying pharmacy business insights to internal stakeholders
  • Participate in pharmacy engagement campaigns, communications, and educational programs
  • Support prompt response to pharmacy inquiries and help resolve minor escalations
• Process & Documentation:
  • Maintain accurate records of communications and transactional processes
  • Help streamline workflow documentation for both wholesaler and pharmacy channels
• Administrative Tasks:
  • Prepare meeting agendas, presentations, and reports
  • Support project coordination and follow-up actions
  • Handle other tasks as assigned by the Trade & Distribution Director

Qualifications & Experience

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related field (graduating Fall 2026 and beyond)
• All candidates must be authorized to work in the US both at the time of hire and for the duration of their employment. Please note that immigration or visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Interest in pharmaceutical distribution and commercial operations
• Ability to work collaboratively and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
