Patient Access & Support Services Program Support Intern

The Patient Access & Support Services (PASS) Program Support Intern will assist in the execution and optimization of PASS with the BMS product portfolios. This role supports cross-functional collaboration, operational coordination, and patient access initiatives to help ensure patients receive timely support for their treatment journey.

In this internship you will:

  • Gain hands-on experience in patient access strategy and operations across multiple therapeutic areas
  • Learn how to navigate the complexities of reimbursement, copay programs, and specialty pharmacy coordination
  • Develop skills in cross-functional collaboration, vendor management, and compliance
  • Build knowledge in data-driven program evaluation and continuous improvement
  • Contribute to initiatives that directly impact patient access to critical therapies

This internship is from June 1-August 7, 2026. This is a temporary, time-bound position intended for the duration of the internship or co-op program. Employment in this role does not imply or guarantee ongoing or permanent employment with BMS.

The starting hourly compensation for this assignment is up to $52/hr. Please note that the final individual compensation and any applicable benefits will be determined by your employer of record (and not BMS). Factors influencing this decision may include the characteristics of the assignment, such as demonstrated experience, required skill, and the geographic location of the job. Compensation details are subject to change.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support day-to-day operations of patient support programs for assigned brands
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams (e.g., Marketing, Analytics, Digital, Training) to align program needs
  • Assist in the development and review of patient access materials and training content
  • Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to support program execution and updates
  • Help manage program documentation, timelines, and compliance with internal policies
  • Monitor program performance and support reporting efforts
  • Contribute to issue resolution and continuous improvement efforts

Qualifications & Experience

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in healthcare, business or a related field is preferred (graduating Fall 2026 and beyond)
  • All candidates must be authorized to work in the US both at the time of hire and for the duration of their employment. Please note that immigration or visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to work collaboratively and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
