Description

We are seeking a strong business and people leader to head the Cell Therapy Sales Strategy & Operations team.

The successful candidate will have a high level of exposure to senior sales and marketing leadership across our business unit and company and will be a key member of the Cell Therapy Sales Leadership Team. This person will be responsible for:

  1. Leading both sales strategy and sales operations teams supporting the Cell Therapy businesses.
  2. The development, planning, and execution of the national strategy inclusive of future operational planning (in partnership with Sales Leadership) for current and future brands.
  3. Leading strategic initiatives specific to the Sales force customer model evolution, Sales force analytics/planning and processes to drive effectiveness of the sales organization.
  4. Lead the development of strategic options for future indications and product launches in these TAs.
  5. Leads executive level presentations to include QBRs, and sales analytic reviews.
  • Identifying trends, opportunities and potential business issues, and developing recommendations through support of team and leveraging relevant resources.
  • Drive succession planning, diversity, aspirational goal achievement, talent retention efforts, pipelining as necessary for external talent. Take a leadership role in creating a respectful & inclusive work environment while role modeling the BMS values, fostering geographical and cultural diversity and an inclusive work environment

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of relevant experience being highly successful across multiple roles, including direct reports (e.g. Sales Training, District Manager, Regional Business Director, Market Access, Marketing) with preference for significant experience in working with a field force
  • Experience leading teams with direct reports with a focus on strong people development
  • Ability to think and communicate strategically
  • Ability to lead within a large matrix organization and influence strategic and tactical decisions
  • Well documented examples of strong leadership, strong compliant execution, and a winning mindset
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver on sales objectives with a track record of strong sales performance
  • Experience with Cell Therapy or Oncology customer base and market industry knowledge preferred
  • Successful experience working with matrix team to accomplish business objectives.
  • Demonstrated experiences partnering with leadership to develop and execute brand strategy
  • Ability to communicate effectively and clearly

Compensation Overview

Field - United States - US: $198,140 - $240,093. The starting compensation range(s) for this role are listed above for a full-time employee (FTE) basis. Additional incentive cash and stock opportunities (based on eligibility) may be available. The starting pay rate takes into account characteristics of the job, such as required skills, where the job is performed, the employee's work schedule, job-related knowledge, and experience. Final, individual compensation will be decided based on demonstrated experience. Benefit offerings are subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable plans then in effect and may include the following: Medical, pharmacy, dental and vision care. Wellbeing support such as the BMS Living Life Better program and employee assistance programs (EAP). Financial well-being resources and a 401(K). Financial protection benefits such as short- and long-term disability, life insurance, supplemental health insurance, business travel protection and survivor support.
