As an Area Sales Manager, Cardiomyopathy (m/w/d) you will lead the team of Sales Specialists in the regional German market and be responsible for the sales of our innovative cardiology product for oHCM in clinics and practices.

You will create a deep understanding of the market and customers, as well as patient flows from target clinics and practices. You will develop a regional sales strategy that drives business performance in cardiomyopathy, as well as in the CV portfolio. You will be responsible for specific strategies for the German account landscape in the networking of clinics and practices. With your team, you will ensure the information of relevant stakeholders in the clinics and manage the patient flow in close cooperation with cross-functional areas from marketing, medicine, and access, to enable quick access of doctors and patients to our innovative therapy.

Through the recruitment of sales talent, you will build a high-performing team. Trustworthy cooperation and the active leading and developing of the skills of your employees form the basis of your success, as well as the monitoring of account plans for the relevant target houses and practices. As a member of the CV Cardiomyopathy Leadership Team, you will ensure alignment within the business unit for a best possible experience of our customers and adapt the go-to-market model of the business unit for the cardiomyopathy market.

In close collaboration with marketing and internal functions, you will contribute to the continuous optimization of sales activities and drive innovation, taking into account the applicable legal and compliance requirements.

Qualification for the position: You have 10 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, ideally with experience in cardiology. You bring relevant leadership experience and have already successfully led teams. You have demonstrated that you care about developing and coaching employees. The professional development and implementation of strategic and tactical plans are second nature to you. You have a clear understanding of the market of the pharmaceutical industry, the German healthcare system, and relevant stakeholders. A customer-centric mindset is the basis of your actions. You enjoy and succeed in leading cross-functional teams and working in matrix structures. You have a completed natural science degree or are a pharmaceutical representative according to ยง 75 AMG. You convince with a constructive, strategic, open, and responsible working style that drives innovation.
