Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Kansas offers excellent competitive compensation with the goal of retaining and growing talented team members. The compensation range for this role is a good faith estimate, it is estimated based on what a successful candidate might be paid. All offers presented to candidates are carefully reviewed to ensure fair, equitable pay by offering competitive wages that align with the individual's skills, education, experience, and training. The range may vary above or below the stated amounts.

What You'll Do

• Enter required data into specified systems with a strict adherence to accuracy.
• Collaborate with retention records, Sales Representatives, Sales Assistants, and other divisional employees to ensure documents are imaged appropriately.
• Pull, pick, and pack packets of information to be mailed to individuals in a timely and accurate manner.
• Identify imaging errors and complete accurate corrective action for specified documents.
• Key data for 80-90% of the workday, maintaining a high level of focus and precision.
• Ensure documents are loaded, scanned, and routed to the appropriate receiving department.
• Maintain a 1% error rating in data entry, queue selection, and file placement during the imaging processes.
• Assign sequential numbers to checks in accordance with Corporate Accounting and Membership service mandates.
• Assemble and mail approximately 5,000 Medicare Supplement packets, 5,000-7,000 ancillary products, and 2,000-3,000 other packets annually.

What You Need

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

• High attention to detail with strong data entry and documentation skills.
• Experience using personal computers and proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, internet navigation, and CRM systems.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a demeanor geared towards finding solutions.
• Professional demeanor and positive attitude in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality.
• Knowledge of clerical duties and scanning equipment is preferred.

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent experience is required.
• Previous experience in data entry is required.
• Previous experience with incoming and outgoing mail is preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Use a PC keying data with multiple monitor screens for 80-90% of the workday.
• Occasional need to lift up to 35 lbs.
• Repetitive work with a high regard for accuracy.
